Anastasia Coppola (she/her)

I believe each individual possesses the innate ability to heal. The connection that is present in a therapeutic relationship is a place to be seen and feel supported.

I operate from an intersectional perspective and recognize the impacts race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, and ability have on a person’s mental health. I continue to work to disinvest from cultural conditioning of domination and work towards my own healing, so I can support you in yours. Each individual has varying needs from a therapist and I encourage my clients to share with me their needs and preferences in therapy.

I have a Master’s in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

My teachers are:

Melanie Young, Cherie Lindberg, and Josh Delahan in Brainspotting Phase 1 and 2 (2018).

Ruby Gibson in Generational Brainspotting (Somatic Archeology) (2020).

Richard Schwartz, Toni Herbine-Blank, and Pamela Krause through Internal Family Systems Circle Program (2023)

Embodied Ancestral Inquiry with Marika Heinrichs and Stevie Joy Leigh (2024).

Currently enrolled in Sacred Grief with Shauna Janz (2024).

I am informed by and learn from books by Robin Wall Kimmerer, Resmaa Menakem, Judith Herman, Peter Levine, Gabor Mate, Prentis Hemphill, Bessel van der Kolk, Brene Brown, Daniel Siegel, Hillary McBride, adrienne maree brown, Jenny Odell, and Glennon Doyle.

I am deeply influenced by the land I live on, Ho-Chunk land, named Teejop, or Four Lakes. The trees, birds, wind, and water are some of my greatest teachers, teachers I respect and commune with.
